STYLING TIPS / WHAT NOT TO SHOP FOR IN 2014

Here is the truth we all know about…Fashion moves on and there are items worth hiding or at least stopping stocking up on. Some I will cry and remember forever (e.g. wedge sneakers), some I would be happily see burn in hell (e.g. black white striped pants). So here we we go…

1. The wedge boots and sandals. They are officially out and you get to see them less and less with each new collection. It is unfortunate because they are extremely comfortable, but yes..Sad, sad but I had to hide all of them back in the closet.

2. Peplums: I think this one is quite obvious, it was a huge trend and those don’t last. Peplums are still out there, but go original and find something that isn’t as typical.

3. The wedge sneakers..oh Isabel Marant was the God to me for creating these, so comfy while making me taller. I still wear mine when going to gym, otherwise let’s face it…They are out!

4. Transparent white clutches. EVERYWHERE! If you want to be original don’t go for them. Thankfully it is harder to find them by the minute, but there is a numerous choice of really pretty ones out there.transparent clutch trend copy

5. Parkas..or parkas with leather sleeves. This one is one of my favourites. The moment these green boring parkas flooded the fast fashion stores, half of my city was wearing them and the truth is why do people tend to want to be so similar to each other when there is such a big choice out there?

My even bigger favourite are those nasty leather sleeves. Great, really great idea, but WHY do so many people wear them. If you really like the trend try to spend a bit more time and find something that is special, so..parkas with sleeves trend

6. Waist belts. NOT the thin ones, but the thick belts worn with sweaters and dresses. Just don’t!thick waist belts trend
