We have all just witnessed a Gucci reset with the new creative director Alessandro Michela debuting at Milan Fashion Week. To me it was the 70’s second hand type of vintage, rather than a new vision, with an Hedi Slimane YSL ways as a sugar topping. Let’s agree, the wearability of these items is incredible and I guess we can expect Kering to go that same route that got Saint Laurent an incredible boost of sales lately. The super expensive, but totally wearable clothes seem to be the winner lately. Did trends die?
And then I saw these Gucci furry shoes and felt sorry for the guinea pig.
